Architect Engineer (A E) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) Design Services for the Charleston Peninsula, South Carolina Project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District (USACE-SAC), issued a Sources Sought Notice for an Architect-Engineer (A-E) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) for design services on the Charleston Peninsula, South Carolina Project. This notice is for market research, not a request for proposals, to inform the Government's acquisition strategy, including potential small-business set-aside determinations. The project involves coastal storm risk management, including an 8.7-mile storm surge structure, gates, pump stations, living shoreline sills, and floodproofing for approximately 100 structures. The A-E SATOC will cover comprehensive design services, from preliminary studies and detailed engineering to environmental compliance, risk management, operations and maintenance plans, and construction phase support. Key services include coastal and hydraulic engineering, structural and geotechnical design, mechanical, electrical, and controls (MEICA), civil and site design, architectural services, environmental mitigation, nonstructural measures, surveying, and project management. Interested firms must submit capability statements by November 7, 2025, detailing their experience, technical capabilities, program management approach, and capacity to support a high-capacity SATOC.
