DDG 51 Class Post Shakedown Availabilities at Norfolk

The Department of Defense, through the Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA), is conducting market research to identify potential contractors for the Post Shakedown Availabilities (PSAs) of two DDG 51 Class Ships at Norfolk, Virginia. The PSAs aim to address government-responsible trial card deficiencies, incorporate approved engineering changes, and manage additional work scope, typically requiring 180,000 to 225,000 man-hours over approximately 16 weeks.
