Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract Modification

The Missile Defense Agency within the Department of Defense intends to award a sole-source contract modification to Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems for a Link-16 development test event planned for calendar year 2027 in support of a Foreign Military Sales case. The work includes establishing the test architecture, providing modeling and simulation data for validation of the Ballistic Missile Defense Operation Support System, executing interoperability testing, conducting problem investigation, and providing specialized engineering assistance to finalize the Interface Design Document for a Command and Control system and shipboard combat systems. The effort is linked to integration of the proprietary SPY-7(V)1 Solid State Radar and J8 Aegis Weapon System expertise, with performance in Moorestown, New Jersey and a period of performance from award through April 30, 2028.
