The Department of Defense, through the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Boeing Company for the procurement of T-45 Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) retrofit kits and associated supplemental parts. This procurement is essential for maintaining the operational readiness of the T-45 aircraft, which is critical for Naval Undergraduate Flight Training. The anticipated contract will be awarded within Fiscal Year 2027 and will consist of a delivery order under Boeing’s Basic Ordering Agreement, including a base year and four option years.
