Common Autonomous Multidomain Launcher (CAML) Request for Solutions Brief (RFSB)

The U.S. Army's Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) has issued a Request for Solutions Brief (RFSB) for the development of the Common Autonomous Multi-Domain Launcher (CAML). This initiative seeks U.S.-based companies capable of providing prototypes for two variants: the Heavy (CAML-H) and Medium (CAML-M), which will be integrated with advanced missile systems. The CAML aims to enhance mobility, crew survivability, and effectiveness in military operations across multiple domains. The RFSB outlines a three-phase process for proposal evaluation: submitting a Solutions Brief, participating in a pitch session, and potentially submitting a full proposal based on initial evaluations. Eligible entities must possess SECRET capability for information processing and storage. Each Solution Brief must be no more than ten pages, detailing the technical approach, qualifications, and estimated costs. Emphasis is placed on understanding the project’s objectives, providing innovative solutions, and demonstrating relevant past experiences. This RFSB represents an opportunity for collaboration between the Army and private sector experts to enhance military capabilities while adhering to strict compliance standards and timelines, beginning with a submission deadline of July 30, 2025.
