Notice of Intent to issue a Sole Source Award to support development and validation of novel ARV detection methods.
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of HIV Prevention, Laboratory Branch, intends to award a sole-source firm fixed-price purchase order to Emory University to support development and validation of novel antiretroviral detection methods. The work requires obtaining freshly collected, matched biological specimens from people receiving ARVs for HIV treatment or prevention and from people not receiving ARVs, including fresh matched whole blood and urine samples. Emory would deliver the specimens to CDC Laboratory Branch staff within 24 hours of collection so CDC can evaluate research-use-only assays and compare results with LC-MS-MS, with performance centered in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a notice of intent for commercial services under FAR 12.102-1, and any quotation or response should be emailed to the contract specialist by 06/02/2026; responses received within 15 days of the notice will be considered.
