Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research Service is procuring cryotanks and a racking system for the National Laboratory for Genetic Resources Preservation in Fort Collins, Colorado. Deliverables include six MVE HEco 1842P-150AF-GB fully automatic cryogenic freezers, one MVE HEco 1879P-190AF-GB fully automatic cryogenic freezer, and 54 V-13-2L vertical racks. Required equipment must feature TEC 3000 controllers, double-walled vacuum insulation, stainless steel construction, and hot gas bypass capability to support long-term genetic resource preservation at temperatures down to -190°C. Deliverables must be shipped F.O.B. Destination to Colorado within 180 days of award under a firm-fixed-price contract evaluated on a lowest-price technically acceptable basis.
