The Department of the Navy, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is soliciting repair and refurbishment support for a ball valve parts kit used in a critical shipboard system. The work covers inspection, cleaning, disassembly, traceability recording, refurbishment of the ball and seats, and any required welding or repair to return the item to like-new or A condition in accordance with the referenced drawing and statement of work. The requirement carries special emphasis material controls and Level I quality provisions, including material traceability, certification, inspection, and approved welding or brazing procedures, and offers will be evaluated with past performance considered; it is also marked as a total small business set-aside and a DX-rated national defense order. Quotes must be submitted as NTE pricing or firm fixed price with a beyond repair price and approximate new-item cost, certification data must go through WAWF to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard before shipment, and final delivery is due 141 days after contract effective date.
