BLOCK ASSEMBLY

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, is soliciting bids for the procurement of pressure bleed block assemblies used in a crucial shipboard system. The contractor must manufacture and deliver thirteen assemblies in accordance with Vacco Drawing S3C10012, Part Number S3C10012-01. Because these assemblies are designated as special emphasis materials, technical requirements dictate quantitative chemical and mechanical certifications, intergranular corrosion testing, and hydrostatic testing at 6,750 PSI with leak testing at 4,500 PSI. Deliveries are destined for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, and all quality certification data must be submitted and approved via the Wide Area Work Flow system prior to shipment.
