The National Institutes of Health is purchasing high-precision weighing equipment to support the In Vivo Neurobiology Group at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The contractor must deliver and install five Mettler Toledo SPE404-C high-precision weigh modules, or equivalent systems, to capture high-frequency measurements of mouse body weight and behavioral activity. To ensure compatibility with existing laboratory setups, the modules must feature a data acquisition rate greater than 120 Hz, a sensitivity of 0.1 mg, a capacity of at least 420 g, and include configuration, training, and warranty support. This unrestricted, firm-fixed-price procurement will be evaluated on technical capability, warranty, delivery, and price.
