The Department of the Navy’s Naval Air Systems Command, through the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and the F-35 Cartridge Actuated Device/Propellant Actuated Device Joint Program Office, is conducting market research for potential sources to support Martin-Baker CAD/PAD components used in the F-35 Lightning II program. The work sought covers manufacturing, procurement, supply, inspection, testing, repair, overhaul, and logistics support for CAD/PAD devices and related escape system components. Interested firms are expected to demonstrate experience with energetics, aerospace or aviation safety systems, precision manufacturing, quality assurance, inspection and testing, compliance with applicable DoD, Navy, and industry standards, and the ability to support urgent or surge requirements for fleet sustainment and production.
