Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking a contractor to provide labor-only services to hand plant, stake, and shelter 1,150 containerized tree seedlings for a habitat restoration project. The contractor will be responsible for unloading, handling, installing, and stabilizing the trees, which include 1,050 three-gallon and 100 fifteen-gallon specimens across a 23-acre site at the Middle Mississippi River National Wildlife Refuge. Work must occur between December 2, 2026, and March 31, 2027, under specific weather conditions, and awards will be determined using a Best Value Trade-Off evaluation of technical approach, price, and past performance.
