Advanced Multichannel Multispectral Photodetection System
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology requires an advanced multichannel and multispectral photodetector system to perform sensitive, dynamic, and hyperspectral fluorescence measurements. The selected contractor must deliver, install, and provide training for a system that integrates directly with NIST's Serial Flow Cytometer and features at least 16 spectral channels, compatibility with four or more light sources, a peak photon detection efficiency of at least 10%, and tunable amplification gain. Deliverables must be received within 12 weeks of award, and all work, including inspection and acceptance testing, will occur at the NIST campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable responsible offeror, and electronic quotations must be submitted to Robert Singman at robert.singman@nist.gov by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on July 24, 2026.
