Kaba Locks

This Performance Work Statement outlines the requirements for a contractor to install and program Dormakaba RFID door locks at Building 1690 Dormitory, Joint Base Andrews. The contractor is responsible for removing existing locks, installing new RFID RT Plus locks and Kaba Lock Trim Plates, and programming them to integrate with the existing Ambiance System. This includes updating the Ambiance software and providing staff orientation. The project encompasses providing all necessary labor, parts, materials, tools, supplies, transportation, and equipment. The work must be performed during specified hours (6:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M., Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays), adhering to security regulations, and prohibiting weapons and illegal substances on base. The government will not provide any equipment or facilities, and the contractor is responsible for the actions of their subcontractors. The contract covers 127 dorm room locks, including common areas, within Building 1690.

The 316th Civil Engineer Squadron at Joint Base Andrews requires the installation and programming of approximately 127 Dormakaba RT Plus door locks for Dormitory Bldg. 1690. These locks, specifically part numbers 79PS016T1KL30-626 and KR30-626 with Kaba Lock Trim Plate 061-510799-630, must be compatible with the existing Dormakaba Dormitory Campus System and Ambiance System for key issuance. The project mandates satin chrome locks with a standard ADB Mortise 1-1/4" face plate, deadbolt, and Lori Type Cylinder with a Long/Long Lever. The contractor must be Dormakaba-trained and certified for installation and programming, ensuring seamless integration and proper functionality with the Community software and kiosk system. The old locks will be removed, and any excess new locks will be provided to the government.
