NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE (LOGICAL FOLLOW-ON)

The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) intends to negotiate a sole-source contract for a logical follow-on task order with GCR-DEAN LLC to provide building maintenance and operations support for the Herbert C. Hoover Building in Washington, D.C. The objective of this task order is to repair and replace the damaged electrical system within the bus duct riser that serves the HVAC electrical equipment, ensuring the safety and reliability of the building's critical electrical distribution systems for its 3,000 occupants. This acquisition is vital for maintaining the operational integrity of the 1.8 million square foot facility, which houses essential government functions.
