The U.S. Air Force’s Automated Test Systems Division at Robins AFB, Georgia, is seeking information for engineering services to support the Versatile Diagnostic Automatic Test Station (VDATS) and VDATS eXtensible Core through a sources sought/RFI. The work centers on establishing and operating a proactive Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages program, including obsolescence monitoring and forecasting, risk analysis, resolution planning, and quarterly DMSMS health reporting for government-designed and commercial-off-the-shelf components. The anticipated effort is a 12-month base period with two 12-month option periods, and the performance work statement also calls for contractor-furnished equipment, work performed at the contractor’s facility, and compliance with CDRL, quality, and security requirements. Responses are due March 24, 2026, and should include business information, capability survey responses, and rough order of magnitude annual costs.
