The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is seeking a contractor to provide a complete direct linear valve assembly. The required valve must be manufactured in accordance with Marotta Scientific Controls, Inc. drawing 281449-0001, model LV17A, utilizing designated special emphasis materials for the body, poppet, retainer, and fitting. Because these components are designated for crucial shipboard systems, the contractor must maintain a qualified quality system under ISO-9001, perform rigorous non-destructive and pressure testing, and secure Portsmouth Naval Shipyard review and acceptance of certification data before shipping. Final delivery of the material is required on or before 365 days after the contract's effective date, and offers must be submitted to Jordan Neely at jordan.d.neely2.civ@us.navy.mil.
