The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking qualified contractors to provide Tissue Typing and Immunogenetics Lab Services for the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Bronx, New York. The primary objective of this procurement is to secure specialized laboratory services essential for the Renal Transplant Program, which includes critical testing for matching organ donors with recipients, diagnosing and preventing transplant rejection, and managing post-transplant complications. These services are vital for ensuring the success of solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation programs, as well as for supporting disease association studies and transfusion needs.
