Intent to Award Sole Source AMS

The United States Air Force intends to award a sole-source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order to the American Mathematical Society (AMS) for access to MathSciNet. This action, justified under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), covers a period from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, with two option years. The Government is not requesting competitive quotations but will consider capability statements from other responsible sources received within five days of this notice. Responses will help determine if a competitive procurement or small business set-aside is feasible. Interested parties must demonstrate how their product meets specified characteristics, including full-text online access, search capabilities, and usage data. Submissions, limited to 10 pages, must include contact information, business size, socioeconomic status, and CAGE/UEI codes. Responses should be emailed to Ja’Quan Dangerfield and Kerisha Wordlaw by December 20, 2025, at 12:00 PM EST.
