Notice of Intent to Award - Whiteriver Service Unit Steam Sterilizer, Reverse Osmosis, Washer Equipment Preventive Maintenance

The Indian Health Service (IHS) requires offerors to self-certify as an “Indian Economic Enterprise” (IEE) under the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C. 47) for solicitations, sources sought, RFIs, and subsequent contracts. The Whiteriver Indian Health Service requires annual preventive maintenance, repairs, and parts replacement for two Getinge 633HC steam sterilizers, one reverse-osmosis water treatment system, and one Getinge 8666 instrument washer/disinfector at their Whiteriver, Arizona facility. The contractor must provide all supervision, labor, parts, materials, and tools, ensuring units meet Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and warranting services for 30 days. All work must conform to OEM requirements, NFPA standards, Joint Commission standards, and federal, tribal, state, and local regulations. The contractor must be manufacturer-authorized, possess all necessary licenses and certifications, use new OEM parts, and comply with HIPAA and IHS visitation policies. Services are to be performed during normal business hours (M-F, 8 am-5 pm), with repair requests responded to by the next business day. Documentation, including service and repair reports, is required within 15 calendar days of completion. Travel expenses must adhere to GSA Federal Travel Regulations. A detailed schedule must be approved by the Government Point of Contact (POC) prior to work commencement, and equipment must be labeled upon service completion. All shipments of materials should be addressed to the contractor.

The Phoenix Area Office Indian Health Services (IHS) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price purchase order to Getinge USA Sales, LLC, for preventive maintenance on Getinge steam sterilizer, reverse osmosis, and washer equipment at the Whiteriver Service Unit. This notice, issued under FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), is not a request for quotes. However, responsible sources capable of providing these services may submit a capability statement to Kerri.Gilmore@ihs.gov, referencing notice number IHS1524421, by the date specified on SAM.gov. The government reserves the right to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses, which will be used solely to assess potential for competition. Submission of information does not obligate the Government to award a contract or pay for the provided information.
