The Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service is seeking professional landscaping and groundskeeping services for the U.S. Arid Land Agricultural Research Center in Maricopa, Arizona. The contractor must maintain approximately 75,000 square feet of desert landscaping, with duties including weekly general maintenance, twice-annual pre-emergent spraying, twice-annual trimming of six large palm trees, and comprehensive irrigation monitoring. To be eligible, the prime contractor must hold active Arizona commercial licenses at the time of award and perform at least 50 percent of the cost of contract performance under the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside.
