The Defense Health Agency, through its Healthcare Contracting Division-West, is seeking a small business contractor to provide San-I-Pak refuse disposal services for the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson military treatment facility in Alaska. The work covers disposal of regulated medical waste from the medical treatment facility dumpster, including weekly or as-needed pickup and transport using a 40-cubic-yard container with a rear-load hydraulic system. The contractor must comply with applicable federal, state, and municipal requirements, maintain necessary permits, provide landfill disposal receipts, and have access to JBER and the Anchorage landfill; the solicitation will be evaluated on a past performance price tradeoff basis, with technical capability rated acceptable/unacceptable and past performance more important than price.
