MatLAB Software License renewals

The Department of the Navy, specifically the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division, intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a sole-source basis to The MathWorks, Inc. The procurement is for the renewal of proprietary software maintenance service subscriptions for existing perpetual MATLAB licenses and associated toolboxes under Master License 31732211. The renewal directly from the manufacturer is required to maintain software compatibility, access current technical support, and avoid the substantial costs and delays associated with reengineering legacy code and retraining personnel.
