59--CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMB, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mech, has issued a presolicitation notice for the repair and modification of circuit card assemblies. The scope of work requires the repair of two circuit card assemblies under NSN 7H-5998-015098330 and TDP Version 003, with the finished units to be delivered to the DLA Distribution center in Norfolk, Virginia. Because the government does not own the technical data or rights required to repair this part, the Navy intends to negotiate a sole-source contract under FAR 6.302-1, and awardees must meet the qualification requirements specified in FAR clause 52.209-1. Although this is a notice of intent rather than a competitive request for proposals, interested sources may submit capability statements or proposals within 45 days of publication to Dianne Wydra at dianne.l.wydra.civ@us.navy.mil.
