Phase Grating Translation System

The Department of Commerce National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for a Phase Grating Translation System. The contractor must supply two 3-axis translation systems, consisting of vertical, transverse horizontal, and longitudinal translation stages, alongside a compatible motor controller to assist the neutron imaging team in developing a far-field grating neutron interferometer. Key technical requirements include a minimum vertical load capacity of 40 N, a transverse horizontal range of motion of at least 40 mm, and a motor controller supporting at least 8 input axes with TCP/IP communication capabilities. Deliveries are to be made to the NIST campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland, under FOB Destination terms. Responses to this sources sought notice must be submitted via email to Prateema E.
