Sources Sought for DVR Autoclave Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services

The Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, has issued a Sources Sought Notice to identify qualified small businesses capable of providing preventive maintenance and repair services for Division of Veterinary Resources autoclave equipment. The selected contractor must supply all labor, tools, and expertise to perform quarterly preventive maintenance visits, deliver 24-hour emergency repair response times, and secure necessary replacement parts. Technicians must be qualified to service diverse autoclave brands, including Amsco, Getinge, BetaStar, BMT, and Sterivap, while strictly adhering to biosafety sequencing and facility entry protocols at animal facilities in Bethesda and Poolesville, Maryland. The anticipated contract will feature a one-year base period starting September 1, 2026, followed by four one-year option periods.
