FDA-Approved Radiopharmaceutical Supplies and Nuclear Medicine Cold Kits
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Defense Health Agency is seeking potential sources to provide FDA-approved active radiopharmaceuticals and non-radioactive compounding cold kits for the Nuclear Medicine Section at the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Eisenhower, Georgia. The selected contractor must supply all compounding facilities, certified personnel, USP-compliant cleanrooms, quality control testing, and DOT-compliant transport to fulfill both routine and emergency nuclear medicine orders. To prevent isotopic decay, the contractor's compounding facility must be physically located within a strict 90-minute driving radius of the medical center, with routine doses delivered at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled patient calibrations and emergency orders delivered within two hours. The resulting firm-fixed-price commercial contract is anticipated to have a one-year base period followed by four 12-month option years. Written capability statements must be submitted electronically in PDF format to Contracting Officer Lenore Paseda and Contract Specialists Sherina Ross and Michael Heaney by August 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time.
