The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, on behalf of the National Weather Service, is seeking a firm-fixed-price purchase order to replace weather-damaged structures at the Weather Forecast Office in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Under this 100% total small business set-aside, the contractor must replace three manhole covers and frames using specified materials and install a new turnkey, single cantilever roll and slide main entrance security gate. The project requires compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, an asbestos-free material certification, and the provision of a five-year workmanship and parts warranty. Performance is expected to be completed within 90 days of the Notice to Proceed, with work commencing within 10 days of the contract award.
