The system must be capable of recording neural activity in unrestrained mice, be lightweight and compact, and ideally compatible with NIDA's existing Spectra-Physics Mai Tai HP laser. This procurement is conducted under simplified acquisition procedures, with a fixed-price purchase order anticipated, and proposals will be evaluated primarily on technical capability and price. Interested offerors must submit their proposals by August 28, 2025, to Polina Klimenkova at polina.klimenkova@nih.gov, ensuring they are registered in SAM.gov and include a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) along with business size certification.
