PLUG, O-RING

The Department of Defense, through the Department of the Navy’s NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mech, is soliciting a small business set-aside for plug, O-ring hardware. The requirement is for an O-ring plug conforming to MS18229-08NC, size 1/2 inch tube outside diameter, for use in a crucial shipboard system and treated as special emphasis material. The work carries extensive quality, traceability, inspection, and certification requirements, including specified material and test certifications, configuration control, and government source inspection at source, with final delivery scheduled at 305 days and early or incremental delivery allowed at no additional cost.
