The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, is seeking market research for a future firm-fixed-price task order to provide non-architect-engineer construction management and technical phase support services for USACE construction projects in the New York area, including the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. The work includes construction management support such as schedule and budget monitoring, inspections, reporting, submittal processing, progress payment support, cost estimating, contract modification preparation, claims processing, and other administrative and technical oversight functions. The effort must cover both vertical and civil/horizontal construction, with in-house personnel able to support disciplines including architecture, civil, geotechnical, cost engineering, scheduling, quality assurance, safety, structural, mechanical, electrical, commissioning, cyber security, electronic surveillance security, fire protection, and flood risk management. Contractors should be prepared to furnish qualified field personnel within one week of task order award and to support as many as 40 task orders over the life of the contract, with senior-level staff, relevant project experience, and quality management narratives expected.
