NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: TSI Incorporated Quest Edge 8M Noise Dosimeters (Part Number: TSI 5EG8M-BT-D) and Microphones (Part Number: MIC-EG8)

The U.S. Department of Labor, through the Mine Safety and Health Administration, is pursuing a sole-source procurement for TSI Incorporated Quest Edge 8M Noise Dosimeters and Microphones to support mine safety and health enforcement. The requirement is for products specifically created for MSHA, with the dosimeter and microphone identified as the only items approved as intrinsically safe for use in underground coal mines. This is an informational presolicitation notice rather than a request for competitive proposals, and there are no solicitation documents for the requirement.
