USCGC MIDGETT LINE SHAFT BEARING INSPECTION

The Statement of Work (SOW) for PR #: 52000PR260000299 requires an OEM certified technical representative to inspect and service the starboard line shaft bearings (LSBs) on the CGC MIDGETT in Honolulu, HI. The vessel's LSBs are leaking oil, and a previous seal replacement was unsuccessful. The contractor will be responsible for inspecting the forward and aft LSBs, making necessary adjustments, and replacing seals using Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). Both initial and post-repair operational tests, witnessed by Coast Guard personnel, are mandatory. The work is scheduled from December 1st to December 5th, 2025.
