SFS Speed Trailer

The 9th Security Forces Squadron (9 SFS) is requesting a License Plate Recognition (LPR) Speed Trailer to enhance speed enforcement and observational capabilities at Beale AFB, CA. This equipment will serve as a force multiplier, augmenting law enforcement and investigative efforts by automatically recording vehicles exceeding speed limits and providing data on accidents or fleeing vehicles, addressing current manning constraints. The required equipment includes one solar-powered, towable speed trailer with LPR cameras capable of operating in extreme temperatures and darkness, storing license plate information, and tracking multiple lanes. It also requires two mounted LPR cameras, a mounted backup battery with 72 hours of power, a heavy-duty mounted solar panel, and a secure cloud-based data storage solution with controlled access for authorized personnel. The contractor must provide two hours of on-site training for up to ten government personnel. The government reserves the right to purchase up to two additional trailers. Delivery is required within 60 days ARO to Beale AFB, CA, with all products needing a one-year manufacturer's warranty. Contractors must comply with base access, traffic, and cellular phone policies.
