The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, is seeking sources for a chemical-free, Ultraviolet-C Transesophageal Echocardiograph ultrasound probe sterilizing unit to be used at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. The required equipment must feature a disinfection cycle of 120 seconds or less, at least eight UV-C lamps with protective covers, an instrument holder, a touch screen, an RFID reader, a barcode scanner, and integrated printing capabilities. Deliverables also encompass a minimum one-year warranty covering preventative maintenance, manufacturer-certified installation services, and on-site training for multi-shift staff.
