The requirement is for a nut, stem retaining, manufactured in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 6408784, Find 184, with associated material, inspection, certification, and packaging obligations. The item is treated as special emphasis material with strict traceability, quality system, thread inspection, non-destructive testing, and configuration-control requirements, and the award will be evaluated with past performance considered. Certification data must be submitted through WAWF to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for review and acceptance before each shipment, final delivery is due within 365 days of contract effectiveness, and no material may ship before acceptance.
