The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is seeking to procure valve seats designated as special emphasis material for use in critical shipboard systems. Contractors must manufacture each seat in accordance with Drawing 505-4457329, piece 13, using graphite-filled urethane (MD71-GG Mearthane) produced by Mearthane Products Inc. This procurement is a total small business set-aside that requires strict compliance with Level I/SUBSAFE quality standards, a documented ISO-9001 quality system, and government source inspection. Final delivery of the material must be completed within 365 days of the contract award, with certification data submitted electronically via Wide Area Work Flow at least 20 days prior to scheduled delivery.
