Titanium RFI - Warstopper
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Defense Logistics Agency’s Warstopper Program is seeking information to support a potential expansion of its titanium buffer and better understand titanium usage across suppliers. The request asks vendors to provide the titanium grades and specifications used for DPAS-rated orders, the intermediary forms they buy, and related production details such as annual need, lead times, five-year demand, internal buffering practices, waste handling, minimum buy quantities, and surge-sensitive products. The information will be treated as business confidential if properly identified, and the RFI is for planning purposes only, with no proposal sought at this stage and no reimbursement for response costs. Interested vendors should email their responses and any questions to Christine Boyer at Christine.boyer@dla.mil with “RFI – Titanium” in the subject line by 17JULY26 before 3pm EST.
