Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of State, through the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok, is soliciting proposals for Group Life Insurance Services for its locally employed staff in Thailand. The contract will be structured as a fixed-price, economic-price-adjustment-requirements type agreement, covering basic life, accidental death/dismemberment, and partial/total disability insurance, with an initial term of one year and options for four additional one-year extensions and one six-month extension. This procurement is critical for ensuring the welfare of U.S. government employees abroad, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror. Interested bidders must submit their quotations by February 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM Bangkok local time, and are encouraged to attend a pre-quotation conference on January 21, 2026.
