The Department of Veterans Affairs, through Network Contract Office 16, is seeking sources for a hardware upgrade to the pneumatic tube system supporting the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System in Little Rock and North Little Rock, Arkansas. The work covers labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to upgrade Swisslog nexus panels and ITS position control boards, including installation of new nexus panels, remote personal indicators, mini UPS units, ITS position control boards, an ITS configuration kit, and related server hardware. The contractor must use a Swisslog Healthcare Field Service Engineer for installation, ensure the system works properly at both campuses, follow manufacturer standards, and comply with access, confidentiality, records management, and VA badge requirements. Work is generally to be performed Monday through Friday, with most activity during normal business hours and occasional after-hours coordination as needed, and the contracting officer point of contact is Joseph Warren at joseph.warren@va.gov, 479-444-5011.
