6515--Ultrasonic surgical aspirator console for chronic tendon pain

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing a Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential qualified sources for an Ultrasonic surgical aspirator console. This RFI, solicitation number 36C26226Q0124, is for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation for offers. The VA is seeking sources capable of providing a console with specific salient characteristics, including the ability to use ultrasound to break down and remove damaged tissue, visualize damaged tendons, reduce recovery time, and feature a MicroTip handpiece with integrated tube set. The console must also offer control over irrigation, aspiration, and cutting modes via a touchscreen LCD and foot pedal. Interested companies are requested to submit capability statements addressing the draft requirements, business size relative to NAICS 339112 (size standard of 1,000 employees), manufacturer/distributor status, compliance with regulations like the Buy American Act and limitations on subcontracting, lead times, FDA clearance, and general pricing.
