Link Belt 348 Load Cell, Dardanelle Marine Terminal

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-priced purchase order to Lyle Machinery Co. for crane repair services at the Dardanelle Marine Terminal in Arkansas. Under this contract, the provider will replace two load cells with calibrations and the upper mast pin in sheaves utilizing original equipment manufacturer parts. To maintain operational certification on the Link Belt 348 crane, this specialized work must be performed by factory-authorized personnel from the closest authorized dealer. The acquisition is being restricted to a single source under the simplified acquisition threshold because Lyle Machinery Co. is the sole authorized Link Belt dealer capable of providing the required personnel and parts.
