The Department of the Air Force’s Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, ISR & SOF Directorate, Special Warfare Program Office is conducting market research for an EMI-robust one-way attack small unmanned aircraft system. The requirement seeks a completed drone solution using commercial off-the-shelf components with in-house custom parts and an electronic safe and arm device to support first-person-view one-way attack missions for Special Tactics Teams. The system must be NDAA-compliant, avoid Chinese supply constraints, and integrate GPS, 4G/LTE/5G cellular connectivity, true frequency hopping, and an optional repeater for range beyond 20 kilometers, with requirements addressing range, flight time, payload, cybersecurity, environmental performance, and related attributes.
