Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of the Air Force’s Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, ISR & SOF Directorate, Special Warfare Program Office is conducting market research for an EMI-robust one-way attack small unmanned aircraft system. The requirement seeks a completed drone solution using commercial off-the-shelf components with in-house custom parts and an electronic safe and arm device to support first-person-view one-way attack missions for Special Tactics Teams. The system must be NDAA-compliant, avoid Chinese supply constraints, and integrate GPS, 4G/LTE/5G cellular connectivity, true frequency hopping, and an optional repeater for range beyond 20 kilometers, with requirements addressing range, flight time, payload, cybersecurity, environmental performance, and related attributes. Responses are due April 17, 2026, and vendors should follow the attachment for response instructions; the primary contact is Jamie Sclafani at jamie.sclafani@us.af.mil.
