Notice of Intent to Forbear Enforcement of MCC Contractual DEI/DEIA Terms

The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) has issued a special notice regarding its compliance with recent Executive Orders aimed at dismantling existing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) programs. Effective immediately, the MCC plans to forbear enforcement of all contract clauses and provisions related to DEI/DEIA, which includes terminating any contracts, grants, or programs that involve DEI/DEIA mandates and ceasing all associated activities. This action aligns with the Administration's broader policy shifts to eliminate perceived waste and discrimination in government programs. Contractors are advised that no immediate action is required on their part, as further guidance will be provided, and the MCC will modify or terminate federal assistance awards without incurring additional costs.
