Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Defense, through the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division, is seeking sources for a Mobility Prototyping initiative aimed at the design, engineering, fabrication, and testing of prototype components and systems for various military vehicles and mobility platforms. This effort is part of a broader strategy to enhance operational capabilities, safety, and reliability for warfighters, focusing on four key technology areas: Powertrain Performance, Advanced Chassis, Body and Mobility Handling, and Mobility Testing Services. The Government intends to award multiple Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts with a total maximum value not expected to exceed $25 million over a five-year period, with responses due by October 23, 2025.
