Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Hook and Line (HK) Team Kit (TK)

The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Product Manager, Engineer Systems (PdM CSS) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Hook and Line (HAL) Team Kit (TK). This RFI is for market research and is not a Request for Proposal. The EOD HAL TK will be primarily composed of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) items, designed to support actions on Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), ordnance Render Safe Procedures (RSP), Ordnance Exploitation (ORDEX), and search operations. The kit will replace existing HAL kits that have reached their end of service life. The Marine Corps estimates a need for 266 EOD HAL TKs. The RFI details specific system requirements and performance attributes, including the ability to neutralize pressure plate IEDs, move various weights of IEDs, place items into a Total Containment Vessel, suspend projectiles, cut wires, and open doors remotely. Vendors are asked to provide rough order of magnitude (ROM) pricing, production lead times, contract information, specification sheets, and demonstrate compliance with various business designations.
