The National Park Service, through the Department of the Interior’s IMR Northern Rockies office, is seeking a small-business contractor for annual testing and inspection of fire alarm, suppression, and extinguisher systems at Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The work covers inspection, testing, maintenance, and any needed replacement, recharging, and retagging of about 180 fire extinguishers and the park’s alarm and suppression systems. Performance is scheduled for June 1, 2026 through July 31, 2026, with work tied to the Visitor Center, two residences, the water treatment building, and other park locations, and the scope calls for NFPA-based compliance, a preconstruction conference, a job-specific Accident Prevention Plan, and a site examination before submission.
