Virtual Industry Day on Innovative Strategies and Alternative Delivery Methods

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Japan District is hosting Virtual Industry Days to brief industry representatives on innovative procurement strategies and alternative delivery methods. The agency seeks industry feedback to improve and better align its acquisition approach with commercial practices and to inform the local market of potential future strategies. The briefings will cover Firm-Fixed-Price with Economic Price Adjustment, Integrated Design and Construction, Progressive Design-Build, Other Transaction Authority, and Design-Build to Budget. The virtual sessions will take place via Microsoft Teams on July 30, 2026, and August 6, 2026, at 10:00 JST. Registration for Session 2 must be submitted by email to Ryan Marzetta at ryan.j.marzetta@usace.army.mil and Ruben Romero at ruben.a.romero@usace.army.mil by August 4, 2026, at 14:00 JST.
