Vertical Tank Storage System Demolition and Removal

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for a contractor to provide disassembly, removal, and disposal services for the External Aircraft Fuel Tank Storage System (EAFTSS) at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska. Specifically, the contractor must dismantle and remove an International Automated Systems (IAS) Model V-100-2 carousel system—consisting of two lines with 100 positions per line—from buildings 10555 and 10565 at the 525th Aircraft Maintenance Unit (AMU). The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary personnel, tools, safety equipment, and transportation. All work must be completed without making any facility modifications, and any damages incurred during execution must be repaired by the vendor. Disassembled components must be coordinated with DLA Disposition Services for proper disposal. Furthermore, the contractor must adhere to strict safety, environmental, and security standards, including submitting a Quality Control Plan (QCP) within 30 days of contract award, managing hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in compliance with local Air Force and OSHA guidelines, and implementing key control procedures. Government-furnished services are limited to emergency medical care and security/fire protection. This non-personnel services contract requires fully certified technician(s) capable of performing all associated electrical and mechanical tasks.
