NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, under the Department of the Navy, is seeking a contractor for the FY26 6C1 Surface Restricted Availability bundle for USS HIGGINS (DDG-76) in support of repair and alteration work at Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan. The effort covers 28 task group instructions for ship repair and maintenance, including preservation, cleaning, repair, and related availability work, with growth work also addressed in the pricing structure. The solicitation is limited to firms with an active MSRA or ABR and authorization to operate in Japan, and the performance period has been revised to 17 August 2026 through 23 March 2027; WAWF instructions were also changed to use Invoice 2in1 and a continuation-of-essential-services clause was added. Offerors must request access to the work specification package through DoD SAFE by 20 March 2026 at 10:00 a.m. JST, and the solicitation closing date was extended to 22 May 2026 at 2:00 p.m. JST.
